Long road out of Eden tour，2008年3月20日始於英國London ，預計於2010年12月22日結束於澳洲Melbourne，在八月底某天 Chen-Hao 突然像發現新大陸一樣: Eagles 竟然有把 State College 這小鎮加入他們北美巡演的最後幾站名單中耶。Eagles 最初於 1971年成軍時，Chen-Hao 和我可都還沒投胎出生，不過誰沒聽過 Eagles呢? Chen-Hao和我都不是 Eagles 死忠粉絲，但超級難得有機會可以共襄盛舉，於是我早早在 9/1 買好兩張票，邀請 Chen-Hao 一起感受傳奇樂團的現場魅力，而 Chen-Hao 也買了 Eagles 精選專輯，打算在 10/22 進 Bryce Jordan Center 欣賞本尊們前，好好預習 Eagles 眾多經典歌曲，於是，這陣子，315 就經常飄盪著 Eagles 的歌聲.....

歷經團員更迭替換，1980年解散又在1994年合體，這次巡演的四位主角Don Henley、Timothy B. Schmit 與 Joe Walsh 出生於1947年，Glenn Frey出生於1948年，4個超過60歲的歌手，3個多小時的演唱，29支演唱曲目，十足誠意的表演，一輩子一次的體驗，儘管這是個可以在 Youtube 找到任何妳想要的影像與聲音的年代，但有些真的是 You absolutely can't experience how AMAZING it is if you're not there...

Eagles 有六座葛萊美獎Grammy Awards(如下)，這一次唱了其中四首歌(不過Don Henley也唱了自己單飛時Grammy得獎的 The boys of Summer)，只有 New kid in town 和 I dreamed there was no wars 沒納入歌單，真的非常的值回票價。沒有華麗的舞台，沒有炫目的服裝，沒有金錢堆砌的視覺，舞台上只有四位認真歌唱的歌者，只有音樂，這樣的簡單真好! 29支歌曲來自不同的年代，各有不同的故事，可在wikipedia 搜尋更深入的背景介紹還有歌曲地位，不需我多說。演唱歌單如下，或許是一輩子一次機會的 Eagles Live Expericnce....

2. How Long - lead vocal by Glenn Frey (Frey 的嗓音還是維持得很好，果然穿著美國中年男子衣櫃裡一定有一件的格子襯衫)
3. I Don't Want to Hear Anymore - lead vocal by Timothy B. Schmit (有點陰柔的嗓音，輕輕唱出分手的憂憂傷感與堅強，63歲的Timothy站在舞台上，怎麼我會有那種彷彿看到二十多歲年輕人的演唱姿態?!)
4. Guilty of the Crime - lead vocal by Joe Walsh (不能說 Joe 搞笑，但是他的表演方式在Eagles中真的非常獨樹一幟，好多好多的臉部表情)
5. Hotel California - lead vocal by Don Henley (紅光下現身的小喇叭超有fu，前奏一起，大家就瘋狂了，沒想到這麼早就唱 Eagles 國歌，Can't believe it! 自己竟然可以現場欣賞到Eagles本尊演唱已傳唱30多年的Hotel California，Don留著白鬍子，又更胖了一些)

7. I Can't Tell You Why - lead vocal by Timothy (Timothy 於1979第一首lead vocal的歌曲，此時見到 Glenn 幫忙彈琴伴奏，他會好多樂器啊!)

9. Lyin' Eyes - lead vocal by Glenn (很鄉村的一首歌，得到 Grammy Award時，我都還沒出生呢!)
10. The Boys of Summer lead vocal by Don (1986年 Grammy Award for best Rock Vocal Performance，Henley 在Eagles 解散時所創作，他曾解釋 the song is more about aging and questioning the past，Jon Bon Jovi也很愛的一首歌)
11. In the City - lead vocal by Joe (Joe自彈自唱得好high，背景是一連串的紐約影像，嗯嗯...十一月來去紐約)
12. The Long Run - lead vocal by Don ( 第六張專輯，也是Eagles解散前的最後一張專輯(1979)，放在中場休息前，頗為呼應)

13. No More Walks in the Wood (木吉他清唱，很乾淨，很符合歌曲的意境。睽違28年後的最新專輯第一首歌，放在中場休息後第一首，真是剛剛好)
14. Waiting in the Weeds - lead vocal by Don (詩的一首歌，有意境有畫面，聽似傷感的旋律，詞內隱藏的是漫長的等待中，對人生不放棄的力量，我很愛)
15. No More Cloudy Days - lead vocal by Glenn (非常溫柔的情歌情歌，會讓我聯想起 Frey在1982年單飛時的 The one you love...)
16. Love will keep us alive - lead vocal by Timothy (1994年首次在Eagles團圓後的"Hell Freezes Over''演唱，由Timothy 陰柔的歌聲詮釋)

18. Take it to the Limit - lead vocal by Glenn (for dreamers)
19. Long Road Out of Eden - lead vocal by Don (睽違28年後，Egales 2007 最新大碟，也是這次巡迴演唱的主題)
20. Walk Away - lead vocal by Joe Walsh (三個媽媽級歌迷直接站在舞台最前面跟著搖擺身體，抬頭盯著Joe看，跟 Joe 只有幾步之遙，彷彿 Joe 對著她們三個唱歌呢!)
21. One of These Nights - lead vocal by Don (舞曲風格，完全沒有提到love字眼的情歌)
22. Life's Been Good - lead vocal by Joe (好 Joe 的一首歌，不僅歌詞內容還有旋律與表演方式，完全將他的風格在舞台上表現出來，活靈活現，難怪是他最著名的獨唱曲)
23. Dirty Laundry - lead vocal by Don (Henley早在28年前(1982) 便寫下這首歌，輕快的電子節奏輕鬆唱來，更凸顯其嘲諷時下新聞追求腥羶色的負面報導)
